It also extends beyond the Hospital and Foundation.
Other charities such as Fore Hope, James Cancer Hospital, Wolfe Associates, The First Tee, Central Ohio Junior Golf Association, Shriners, Lions Club and more all have a relationship with the Tournament.
I was excited that I could be a part of this charitable week by presenting a $47,704 check to Nationwide Children’s Hospital from Kinder Key, a women’s auxiliary group of NCH that raises money for the Heart Center.

Our group overall presented a check for over $154,000 during the 10TV telethon which brought in over $10 million that weekend! That is amazing and it makes me even more proud of our community.

Not only were checks presented and money donated, but all the volunteers you saw in yellow shirts at the Tournament (over 2,600) were brought in by Nationwide Children’s Hospital. People donated their time away from their families and other commitments to support the hospital and make The Memorial Tournament a successful one.
So thank you to the volunteers, the individuals and businesses for donating your time and financial commitments to such great causes right here in our backyard.
Bravo to The Memorial Tournament for your coordination!
Eventing off,
Miss C.S.
