Today, I hope you can join me at the Columbus Commons (downtown Columbus) for Free Velvet Ice Cream to benefit the Salvation Army of Central Ohio!
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Velvet Ice Cream has paired up with Denali Flavors, the creator of Moose Tracks Ice Cream for the 10,000 Scoops Challenge!
For each scoop eaten, Denali Flavors will donate $1 to The Salvation Army to support its ongoing programs for children.
The event is free and open to the community.
I've been asked to be a "local celeb" (celeb term used loosely) :) to give out free scoops from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.!
