CMH Fashion Week Comes to an End

Last Friday, I attended CMH Fashion Week's Finale Runway Show at the new downtown Hilton, where 10 designers showcased their hot new looks to a crowd of 200.

I was lucky enough to score an interview with designer Gary Jones before the show which he featured 9 mens' designs and 1 female design.

A Columbus native and owner of Jones Select, a custom clothing company, designed his line with his motto "Stand out or Fit in".

Why Columbus I asked? "Because it's important to our community to keep talent here and to build for the future," states Jones.

His advice for up-and-comers?

"Follow your passion and nothing will stop you." - Gary Jones

Along with Gary's designs there were many other great fashions showcased that evening. (See pix below.)

Before the show, interviews were made, cocktails were sipped and the who's who of Columbus were seen.

Not only were the lines great on the runway, but the models showcased bridal attire before the show as live models posing as mannequins.

Congrats to all the designers, the board members, volunteers, models and the production team including Fashion Show Producer Staley Cook! Bravo on another outstanding year and looking forward to next year's show.
